Peter Blegvad & Kevin Jackson

Since all humans beings are pataphysicians, it is naturally the case that one cannot be a “professional” pataphysician, and many who have asserted their affiliation to “the Science” have eschewed professionalism altogether in their various activities. This is not in any way to deprecate their abilities, rather it says the opposite, that they are so proficient that they tend to apply themselves to any number of disparate fields (“All is ’Pataphysics”). This preamble is by way of an introduction to this essential issue of the Journal which contains an extensive interview with the President of the Institute, Peter Blegvad, and covers all his numerous “careers”: musician, artist, graphic novelist, broadcaster (inventor of the “eartoon”), author and so forth.
