Translated by Iain White.
Works by Paul Nougé (1895-1967), the so-called “leader” of the Belgian Surrealist group, selected by his co-conspirator, Marcel Mariën. He makes a non-representative selection, only one poem and no polemical or theoretical texts, instead he concentrates on Nougé’s short fiction, principally as published in Les Lèvres nus in the late 1950s.
