Adam Dant & Alastair Brotchie
A CHRONOLOGICAL PANTHEON OF PATAPHYSICS

£15.00

Strictly speaking, ’Pataphysics has no history, being uncreated and omnipresent. And although all humans are pataphysicians (the Collège and the Institute distinguish only between those who are aware of this from those who are not), some pataphysicians, to borrow Orwell’s phrase, are more pataphysical than others. This issue comprises a large folded drawing (83 x 118 cm) by Adam Dant and an accompanying booklet by Alastair Brotchie. Dant’s drawing , “A Chronological Pantheon of ’Pataphysics”, portrays some 150 noble and ignoble individuals from the past 150 million years, along with their remarks relevant to the Science; a somewhat fuller exegesis is offered in the explanatory booklet.

The London Institute of ’Pataphysics, Journal 5, Palotin 139, 499 numbered copies.
